Yeni bir salgın gündemde. Time Magazine 7 sayfalık bir yazı ile bunu yakında duyuruyor olacak. Ülkemizde görülmedi henüz ancak bu görülmeyecek demek değil. Sosyal sorumluluk adına da olsa bu konuya 2-3 satır yer vermek istedim. Hastalığın adı TB (XDR-TB) olarak geciyor. Mutasyona uğramış bir virüs ve maalesef hiçbir ilaca tepki vermiyor. Bir çeşit mutasyona uğramış Tüberküloz olduğu söyleniyor. Lütfen daha fazla bilgi için bu linke bakın ve tanıdığınız herkese duyurun.

There’s a new disease called XDR-TB or in short TB only. It’a a mutated Tuberculosis virus that resists to any kind of drug. Although there’s no organization that is supporting the move against this disease in Turkey, as a social responsibility I find it necessary to inform everyone beforehand. Well, first of all, why am I posting in English this time? Because I want to make a suggestion that I think would be nice if it’s understood universally.
Everybody says that Apple’s Brick is a Tablet PC, more or less like Macbook Air. I think it’s not. My suggestion is not depending on any insider info but the things written on the net. They say; it’s a tablet pc, they say; the new Apple TV will be announced (and will be something like the combination of Apple Mini and Apple TV), etc…
I believe it’s all. Apple Brick is a Netbook that runs a FrontRow alike interface with touch screen and be hang on the wall; thus a thing that makes the wall complete, a thing like “Brick”. So it’s mainly a touchscreen pc with special interface (like FrontRow or maybe iPhone) that decorates our walls.
I’m not a photoshop artist and thus I cannot present it visually but I guess you got me.
What you can do with it is:
- Run your photos as slide shows (like a picture on the wall; tableau)
- Play your music from it
- Play Videos
- A home phone (IP phone)
- Order food etc (later versions :))
- etc.
A thin client maybe… A browser, that’s it.
